This is an absolutely gorgeous work of art! The pumpkin shape is so unique and makes a perfect centerpiece for fall. I’ve used it to make soups and stews, and it cooks everything to perfection. The enamel finish is beautiful, and the heat retention is amazing. It’s heavy, but that’s to be expected with cast iron. Well worth the money for the quality and design!

What can I say? It’s gorgeous and works like a Staub should. The burnt orange color is stunning, and the enamel interior makes cooking and cleaning a breeze. The only downside is the crevices in the pumpkin design make it slightly harder to stir food, but it’s worth it for the beauty. I love this piece and look forward to using it every fall season.
The pot cooks well and holds heat beautifully, but I found the lid alignment a bit awkward. Because it’s not circular, you have to position it carefully, which can be annoying when you’re in the middle of cooking. The handle design could also be more ergonomic. Other than that, it’s a great piece for soups and stews, and it looks fantastic as a decorative item on the stove.
I was really excited to order the burnt orange version, but what I received was the white one in a box labeled burnt orange. The pot itself seemed to be excellent quality, but it wasn’t the color I wanted, so I had to return it. For the price, I expected better attention to detail in fulfilling orders. It’s frustrating to deal with these kinds of mistakes.
